About YAE Tribe & Founder Julie Mahony
Created with lived experience, trauma awareness, and a deep, unshakeable belief that you already possess what you need to heal.
What Does 'YAE' Mean?
YAE stands for You Are Enough.
Too often, trauma, emotional abuse, and domestic violence leave people feeling diminished, second-guessing their reality, and carrying a heavy burden of self-blame. YAE Tribe was built to be a sanctuary where that narrative changes: you are not broken, you are not to blame, and exactly as you are, you are enough.
About Founder Julie Mahony
YAE Tribe was founded by Julie Mahony out of a personal understanding of the challenges, isolation, and courage required to navigate healing after domestic violence and emotional abuse.
Rather than adopting a clinical or top-down medicalized approach, Julie envisioned a platform rooted in warmth, plain Australian English, and respect for personal autonomy. Here, there are no medicalized hierarchies or rigid demands — only gentle choices, practical tools, and a supportive community in development.
